Shed Off Extra Pounds Quickly with These 6 Easy Steps
By Thong M. Dao
If you are like many people who are trying to lose weight,
you have probably tried diet after diet only to find out
that the diet you are currently on is not helping your fat
loss plans. The reason for this might be that you are using
fad diets and weight loss programs that do damage to the
body instead of helping it achieve its ideal weight. If you
want to lose fat and stay healthy follow the following tips
to help you achieve your goal.
1. Watch what you eat. Keep a watchful eye on every thing
that goes in. Sometimes the garnishes can be richer than the
food itself. Accompaniments too can be very rich. Remember
that it is the easiest thing in the world to eat something
without realizing that it was something that you should not
have eaten. Selective memory you know.
2. Control that sweet tooth. Remember that sweet things
generally mean more calories. It is natural that we have
cravings for sweet things especially chocolates and other
confectionery. Go easy on these things and each time you
consume something sweet understand that it is going to add
on somewhere.
3. Determine meal time and adhere to it. Attempt to eat your
meals at given times. An eating pattern can assist you to
take control over what you consume and when you consume it.
Besides, it actually is best to have 5 small meals per day
instead of just 1 or 2 big meals. Only eating once per day
makes your body feel like it's malnourished, which puts on
weight rather than burning it for fuel. In addition, do not
wait till you are starved to eat. It just makes you gorge
till you are stuffed.
4. Eat only when you are hungry. Be sure to drink a glass of
water first to determine if you really are hungry or if you
are really thirsty. Many people have the tendency to eat
when they see food. It doesn't mean they are hungry; they
just want to eat it. Don't eat anything you're offered
unless you really are hungry. If you feel you must eat it
out of being polite, just nibble, don't have a meal.
5. Try not to snack between meals, but if you must have a
snack make sure it is a healthy one. If you travel a lot try
to find healthy snacks and not junk food.
6. Snack on vegetables and fruits if you must. You might get
the pangs of hunger in between meals. It is something that
you can very well control. Or even better, try munching on
carrots. They are an excellent way to satisfy those hungry
pangs and are good for your eyes and teeth.
